Win Tickets: Good Luck Bar Turns 2

The Good Luck Bar’s Second Birthday:

Given that we’ve so many jols there, it’s difficult to believe that the Good Luck Bar is only 2 years old. I mean, what 2 year old parties that hard? Of course, there’s a jol for that too!

We’re keen to be there on 9 September and so should you. To help you out, we’re giving away tickets! Incidentally, this also coincides with the start of my self-employment adventures and over at Milled, we love start-ups!

So we’re going to use this opportunity to give you an opportunity to advertise your (or a friend’s) start-up. If your start-up (or a friend’s) is less than 2 years old, tell us about it on this Facebook thread and how you would celebrate its second birthday. Even if it’s older, we don’t really discriminate, as long as it’s awesome! Who knows? Maybe we can convince GLB to host it.

More importantly, we’d like to do an article on our readers’ local start-ups so this would help.

Born and bred in Bloemfontein on a diet of cynicism, brandy and terrible literature, this little boy, disguised as a sane adult, takes comfort in knowing that the world is wrong and is set on proving it. Did we mention he's an attorney with a degree in economics? Rich quit his job, jumped on a train, currently pays rent to hold his stuff in Hillbrow and is actually the most non-attorney attorney around. He's a law firm specializing in Entertainment and Entrepreneurship. He's also moved on to Jack Daniels. You can tweet him @uncle_chem to find out about his un(self)employment adventures.
